The biggest challenge facing regulators and other stakeholders in Web3 is educating
and protecting users. One of the objectives of the Web3 subcommittee is to develop strategies
and resources to promote awareness and understanding of the transformational potential of
Web3 technologies, as well as mitigating any attendant risks.
The subcommittee aims to provide a forum for policy makers, builders, users and
other participants of this innovative and inclusive ecosystem to share ideas, knowledge, and
experiences such as successful use cases and business challenges that can shape effective
regulations. We will bring together experts from across the Web3 space to share their
knowledge with the wider community and align local and regional initiatives towards achieving
common goals.
The subcommittee will support public and private stakeholders in building a vibrant Web3
research, innovation, and talent ecosystem in Singapore through promoting responsible
innovation, working with partners to develop and support training programmes, and creating a
strong community of entrepreneurs, developers and users.
