The “Internet Finance Award 2017” (the Award) is jointly organized by the Internet Professional Association (iProA), Shenzhen Internet Finance Association, Singapore Fintech Association and The FinLab, supported by Chinese Big Data Society, Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, Hong Kong Blockchain Society, Hong Kong Digital Analysis Association, Hong Kong Internet Finance Association, Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association, Hong Kong Young Entrepreneur Association, The Association of Cloud and Mobile Computing Professionals and The Y.Elites Association. The Award is accepting entries now. We wish to invite you to apply for the award and showcase your excellent internet finance applications.
The establishment of the “Internet Finance Award” aims at identifying outstanding internet financial institutions in Hong Kong, promoting the technological innovation of financial institutions and commending distinguished pioneers in financial technology.
“Internet Finance Award 2017” will invite enterprises that are interested in developing internet finance in Hong Kong to participate in the competition. The organizers encourage cross-border financial cooperation to break geographical boundaries by means of the internet and develop breakthrough or innovative financial technological proposals for the furtherance of new economic models.
The Award is divided into 3 categories, including:
- Financial Institutions;
- Financial Startups; and
- Internet Financial Solution Providers.
In order to enhance the representativeness of the “Internet Finance Award”, we have invited Prof. K C CHAN, GBS, JP, Adjunct Professor of Finance of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Dr David WONG, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority and Dr Lee G. Lam, Chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited as the Chief Judges of the Award . The leading the Jury Panel are comprised by leaders or scholars from technology or financial sectors.
