Are you a payments company looking to navigate Singapore's regulatory landscape with confidence? Whether you are in the midst of making an application, a business exploring inroads to the markets in Singapore, or just want to find out more – the Singapore FinTech Association is proud to present Compliance Gateway, a series of workshops delivered by and for our members.
Designed for companies entering or operating in Singapore's fintech ecosystem, our Compliance Gateway Workshops are aimed to inform, connect, and empower our members.
As a new initiative, these workshops will run quarterly for our members. Each workshop will be anchored by an SFA member with a proven track record of qualified experience, providing specialised professional services to payments companies in Singapore, and deep familiarity with the regulatory landscape in Singapore.
Workshop #1 – A Primer on Singapore’s Payments Regulatory Landscape
The inaugural workshop will feature guest speakers from Allen & Gledhill LLP and explore the evolution of payments regulation in Singapore, with a focus on the Payment Services Act 2019. Participants will gain practical insights into the PS Act licensing process, key compliance obligations for licencees, and emerging regulatory developments.
A special segment will also cover stablecoins and the anticipated regulatory framework governing stablecoin issuance services and MAS-regulated stablecoins.
