Canada's FinTech sector continues to see tremendous growth, which in 2022 recorded almost 169 FinTech deals, bringing in $1.3 billion of investment. With six banks in Canada being among the top 10 safest banks in North America, the 2023 Global Innovation Index ranked Canada 4th in terms of financial market sophistication, highlighting robust credit and capital markets critical to FinTech success.
